Symptoms of MRSA

If any of these symptoms apply to you, seek medical attention IMMEDIATELY:
- Red bumps that look like pimples, boils, or spider bites that also seem infected -
may be opened, oozing pus, painful, warm to the touch.
- Shortness of breath, fever, chills - occurs when staph infects the lungs and causes pneumonia.

Seek medical attention if you are being treated for a skin infection, but:
- You develop a fever.
- The infection does not go away after 3-4 days, or gets worse.

Seek medical attention in any case as soon as possible, especially if you are immuno-compromised. The earlier you are treated, the less dangerous the infection will be.
